New features¶

Native BGP Support: Ella Core now embeds a BGP speaker that automatically advertises a /32 host route for each active subscriber IP. It can also receive routes from its BGP peers and loads them into the kernel routing table. You don't need to have a separate BGP software running on the host like BIRD or FRR anymore. This feature is useful for enterprise deployments where routable subscriber IPs are required. Configure BGP via the networking page.

Redesign IP allocation with lease table: Pre-requisite for multiple potential features for Ella Core (IPv6, static IP allocation, High Availability, Multi-PDU sessions)
FIB lookup user plane metrics: Add new metrics for monitoring Ella Core's user plane (app_xdp_fib_lookup_total and app_xdp_ifindex_mismatch_total).
